Overnight lows should range from the 40s over northeast Minnesota to the lower 60s over southwestern parts of the region. Thunderstorms are forecast again Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday night, mainly over eastern portions of the Northern Plains. Severe thunderstorms are anticipated for the eastern Dakotas into western Minnesota. Highs Tuesday should range from the 70s over western and northern parts of the Northern Plains to the 90s over South Dakota and southern North Dakota. Mainly dry conditions are expected Wednesday across the northern plains. Thunderstorm chances return Thursday and Friday. Temperatures through the work week remain mainly in the mid 70s North to mid 80s south. $$ twh
