The Flash Flood Watch continues for * A portion of eastern North Carolina, including the following areas, Beaufort, Carteret, Craven, Duplin, Greene, Jones, Lenoir, Mainland Dare, Mainland Hyde, Martin, Onslow, Outer Banks Dare, Outer Banks Hyde, Pamlico, Pitt, Tyrrell, and Washington. * Through this evening * 2 to 4 inches of rain is expected over a large area of Eastern North Carolina. * Heavy rainfall rates and rapid runoff could produce flash flooding in urban, low lying and poor drainage areas.
