Flood Watch
National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City NC
407 AM EDT Mon May 28 2018

...HEAVY RAIN AND FLASH FLOODING POSSIBLE INTO THIS EVENING...

.Moisture indirectly associated with Subtropical Storm Alberto
will spread over Eastern North Carolina today. Heavy rainfall
rates through the day will lead to possible flash flooding in low
lying and urban areas. The heavy rain threat should end this
evening, although occasional bouts of rain showers, heavy at
times, will persist over the area through midweek as the tropical
air mass remains in place.
