This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD
). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.
367 FXUS64 KCRP 272300 AAA AFDCRP Area Forecast Discussion...UPDATED National Weather Service Corpus Christi TX 600 PM CDT Fri Apr 27 2018 .DISCUSSION... See .AVIATION discussion for 00Z TAFS. && .AVIATION... Light winds develop later this evening (except KLRD with a more southerly flow by 06Z) with lots of mid and high clouds during the overnight period. Winds eventually become southerly during the day Saturday with the high clouds diminishing but scattered mid level clouds (or scattered to broken). Not much else needs to be said. && .PREVIOUS DISCUSSION... /Issued 346 PM CDT Fri Apr 27 2018/ SHORT TERM (Tonight through Saturday night)... Upper level ridge will move out of the Four Corners region into the central part of the country this weekend. This will result in mostly quiet weather across South Texas during the short term. Winds through the period will gradually return onshore as surface high pressure slides off to the east. However, deeper moisture will be lacking across South Texas and will keep the forecast dry. The better moisture will reside just south of the region tomorrow across Deep South where low rain chances will exist. Regarding temperatures, highs Saturday will in the upper 70s along the coast to lower and mid 80s inland. Low temperatures will be in the upper 50s to low 60s both tonight and tomorrow night. LONG TERM (Sunday through Friday)... Ridging over the region will begin shifting to the east as a deepening mid/upper level low/trough moves over the Pacific northwest on Sunday. Onshore flow will strengthen to a moderate flow on Sunday into the early part of the upcoming week, increasing moisture across the region. Cloud cover will increase overhead, and as dewpoints rise it will feel more humid next week than this past week. Throughout the weekdays the mid/upper level low will dig southeast, sending impulses ahead in the southwest flow aloft over the region. A south to SSW H85 flow will provide a fair cap over the area, but as these impulses pass overhead, some isolated showers and storms could pop up Monday through late in the week. By Thursday the disturbance aloft will move closer to the Panhandles, and with stronger energy overhead and higher moisture, anticipate more scattered showers and storms will be possible Thursday through Friday. The warming trend will continue Sunday into the middle of the week with the persistent south to south southwesterly low level flow. Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s east of HWY 281 and in the lower 90s west of HWY 281 by the middle of the week. Temperatures will be a few degrees cooler late in the week with more potential rain. && .PRELIMINARY POINT TEMPS/POPS...
