914 AWCA82 TJSJ 050835 RWSPR Weather Summary for Puerto Rico National Weather Service San Juan PR 435 AM AST Thu Apr 5 2018 Mostly clear skies prevailed across the forecast area overnight and early this morning with a few isolated passing showers noted across the coastal waters. Temperatures were in the mid 70s at lower elevations under light and variable winds. Expect another round of showers with isolated thunderstorms across the western interior and west Puerto Rico during the afternoon hours. Soils are already saturated across these areas, and therefore urban flooding as well as rises along small streams and rivers are likely with the heaviest showers. Elsewhere, fair weather to continue. Tranquil marine conditions will continue to prevail today with seas of 4 feet or less and east winds up to 15 knots. A moderate risk of rip currents will continue along the northern beaches of Puerto Rico through the upcoming weekend. $$ This product is issued around 5 AM and 5 PM each day and weather conditions may change between issuances.
