A departing low pressure system over the Great Lakes keeping chances of snow and blowing snow in the forecast over Minnesota, with decreasing clouds later tonight. Expect cold conditions tonight with lows ranging from the single digits below zero to the teens across the region. Well below normal temperatures will continue across the Northern Plains through the work week, with perhaps some moderation in temperatures over the weekend. More widespread snow is becoming increasingly likely over the weekend as well. Stay tuned. $$ JV
