.DISCUSSION...

Strong northwest winds will continue through late afternoon across
the region, with the highest gusts generally in southwest
Nebraska. The wind will subside after sunset. Fire weather 
concerns are low for Wednesday, but conditions approach critical 
levels in the panhandle and southwest Nebraska for Thursday and 
Friday. Humidity is the main concern Thursday (below 20 percent). 
The combination of seasonably warm temps (highs in the mid/upper 
60s), low humidity (below 20 percent), and relatively gusty west 
downsloping winds (20 mph) is expected Friday.
