.NOW...

At 11:31 AM...National Weather Service doppler radars continued
to detect a large area of showers and thunderstorms pushing
northeast across eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas, mainly
along and east of a line from Copan to Okemah. Moderate to heavy
rainfall had been observed from this activity, as well as some
small hail and gusty winds. All this activity was moving toward
the northeast around 40 miles per hour.

Through 1:00 PM...Showers and thunderstorms will continue to
spread northeast across the forecast area. Some of the storms
could become strong enough to produce hail and strong winds,
along with heavy rainfall. There is also the possibility of an
isolated tornado, mainly across southeast Oklahoma. The heavy
rainfall will likely worsen the present flooding issues across
the area. Do not attempt drive vehicles into flooded areas or
roadways.
