Lows were in the single digits across the Sandhills and eastern panhandle. Elsewhere temperatures were in the lower teens. Winds were out of the north, with gusts up to 35 mph. For today, light snow will continue throughout the day with only light accumulations. Heavier snow will be possible later in the day and overnight hours, with the greatest accumulations in northwest Nebraska. Highs in northwest Nebraska will struggle to get out of the single digits, while the rest of the area will be in the teens. Winds will be out of the north northeast, with some gusts around 25 mph. $$ Thorne
