Partly cloudy skies were observed across Puerto Rico today with
mainly fair weather observed for most of the day. However, a few 
showers have developed late this afternoon across the western
interior and western Puerto Rico, some of these showers are 
moderate to locally heavy but accumulations have been generally 
less than a half of an inch of rain. Winds were from the east 
at 10 to 15 mph with sea breeze variations with daytime maximum 
temperatures in the low to mid 80s across the lower elevations and
in the 70s across the higher elevations. 

For tonight, isolated to scattered but brief showers are expected
across the local waters and eastern Puerto Rico. This pattern is
expected for the next couple of days as easterly trade winds 
transport patches of low level moisture across the local area 
from time to time. 

Mariners can expect seas up to 6 feet and winds up to 15 knots 
across the local waters, therefore small craft operators are 
urged to exercise caution. A moderate risk of rip currents 
continues along most of the local beaches except some beaches in 
the south and the west coasts of Puerto Rico.
