Showers and thunderstorms brought moderate to heavy rainfall to northwest Wisconsin overnight, with amounts of up to 3 inches. Elsewhere conditions were dry. Afternoon high temperatures on Monday ranged from around 60 in the northwest, to the lower 80s in the south. Readings remained mild on Monday night, with lows mostly in the 60s to around 70. The exception was in the far northeast, where mid to upper 50s occurred. .FORECAST... Showers and thunderstorms will spread from northern and western Wisconsin early this afternoon into central and southern Wisconsin tonight. Temperatures will begin cooling, with lows ranging from the mid 40s in the northwest, to the mid 60s in the southeast. Highs on Wednesday will climb into the 50s and 60s, with a slight chance for showers in the southeast through midday. Shower and thunderstorm chances will increase by late week into the first part of the weekend. $$ SPM
