This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Chances for showers with a few embedded thunderstorms will increase
this evening and tonight, mainly west of the Kansas Turnpike. Strong
or severe storms are not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A few thunderstorms could venture into areas of north-central Kansas
generally along and north of I-70 Sunday evening and night, and
again Monday late afternoon and night. Strong to marginally severe
storms are possible.

Strong and gusty south winds along with above normal temperatures
will support very high grassland fire danger across portions of
central and south-central Kansas Sunday and Monday afternoon.

Periodic thunderstorm chances are in the forecast from Tuesday
afternoon through Friday. While widespread severe weather appears
unlikely, strong to marginally severe storms are possible, along
with pockets of heavy rain.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
