Weather Summary for Portions of the Central Plains
National Weather Service Hastings NE
427 AM CDT Mon Sep 25 2017

As expected...wet weather will impact most of Nebraska and Kansas
early this week. Look for scattered to widespread showers and
isolated thunderstorms throughout the day today. Precipitation
should show signs of tapering off tonight from west to east...and
eventually shift east of south central Nebraska and north central
Kansas by midday Tuesday. Sunshine will return Tuesday afternoon and
help kick temperatures up a notch. Highs today will be in the 50s to
lower 60s...but should top out in the 60s for all areas on Tuesday.
The latter half of the week is dry with sunshine and light winds.
Temperatures will be slightly below normal...though still not
bad...with highs ranging from the upper 60s to middle 70s Wednesday
through Friday.
