Hurricane Maria continues to move away from the US Virgin Islands and conditions are improving. Showers and thunderstorms will continue. A flash flood watch remains in effect for all of the US Virgin Islands through Friday evening. Torrential rainfall will cause widespread flash flooding. Remember, if you see flooded roadways, turn around don't drown. Across the coastal waters, seas 5 to 8 feet will persist along with southerly winds 15 to 20 KT. $$ This product is issued around 5 AM and 5 PM each day and weather conditions may change between issuances.
