VFR wx overnight with decreasing ne-e winds in most places. NE winds will increase mid/late Mon AM with G15-20kts and CU field at 050 will develop (briefly BKN?). && .PREV DISCUSSION... /issued 235 PM CDT Sun Aug 27 2017/ DISCUSSION... Northeast surface flow from around the circulation of Tropical Storm Harvey has brought drier air into the area allowing lows this morning to drop well into the 60s. Model guidance has been showing this would happen and have been wrong the past couple of days, but now that the drier air has arrived I have more confidence in dropping lows this forecast period. Highs are another story however with the drier air allowing for a larger diurnal range and cooler lows will not necessarily translate into cooler highs. MEX guidance still seems too low with high temps this week and have once again gone closer to the ECE guidance which is a few degrees higher than the MEX. The drier air obviously means rain chances will diminish this week with little if any rainfall expected.
