Rain and clouds have been more scarce which have allowed temperatures to be closer to normal but northwest flow has kept temperatures in check. Afternoon highs have ranged from the mid to upper 80s over much of Kansas today with low 80s along the Kansas and Oklahoma boarder. Winds have been light and variable. Partly cloudy skies will dominate the region tonight which will keep overnight lows a little below normal. Overnight lows are expected to rang from the mid 60s over much of South and Eastern Kansas to the upper 50s in Northwest Kansas. Winds will be light and variable. Wednesday, some patchy fog will be possible in the morning during in Southern and Southeast Kansas but this should burn off by mid morning. Afternoon highs will remain near or just below normal ranging from the upper 80s to near 90. Winds will be light and variable again for much of the day. $$
