Area Forecast Discussion
National Weather Service Melbourne FL
850 PM EDT Wed Jul 5 2017

.UPDATE...
Low to mid level ridge axis continues near the FL-GA border with
deep easterlies across the area. Water vapor imagery indicates an
upper low across the far srn FL peninsula with a dry airmass in the
mid to upper levels. Late afternoon convection has moved west of
Lake county and have sent grid/zone update to remove earlier low
shower/thunderstorms chances across the interior. Otherwise little
change to dry overnight forecast with lows mainly in the mid 70s
with some warmer readings along the beaches.

Previous...Thursday...Storm coverage expected to remain below normal
with ridging surface and aloft. Precipitable water values will be
low over the area, with forecast soundings showing values down to
around 1.25" early Thurs. A little increase in moisture mainly
across the southern sections as the day wears on and Tutt passes
into the SE Gulf. PoPs will be below mentionable values over the
northern coastal sections, and only slight/low end scattered at most
over the interior sections. High temps in the low/mid 90s... except
some upper 80s along the immediate east coast.

from KFPR-KSUA corridor Thu afternoon. Kept nrn interior terminals
including MCO precip free for now (Probs 20 percent or less) with
another day of low coverage expected from KISM northward.
