Shower development have begun across the north, east, interior 
and west Puerto Rico. The proximity of a tropical wave will 
continue to be favorable for periods of showers and possibly 
thunderstorm development through the next three hours or so. 
Shower development is also expected across portions of the San 
Juan Metro Area. These showers and thunderstorms are capable of 
producing periods of heavy rainfall, brief gusty winds, as well 
as ponding of water on roadways and in low lying areas. Frequent
lightning still possible if thunderstorm activity develops.
