.DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers, some moderate to heavy, may occur prior to a
line of strong to severe thunderstorms later today and continuing
tonight. With any storms there are the potential threats of heavy
rain and frequent lightning. With any strong to severe storms
additional threats of damaging winds, large hail, and even a 
tornado are possible. Greatest risk of aforementioned threats 
mainly over N/W portions of CT and MA. Southwest winds around 10
to 15 mph with gusts as high as 35 mph. Both thunderstorm and wind
threats diminish into Tuesday. 

.OUTLOOK...Wednesday through Friday...

Widely scattered showers Wednesday with breezy W/SW winds around
15 mph with gusts around 25 mph. Winds diminish into Thursday while
becoming westerly. Overall dry. Wet-weather returns Friday along
with breezy SW winds around 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
