Scattered showers and storms will continue to push north to
northwest along the east central Florida coast and across Okeechobee
and Osceola counties through mid afternoon. Additional showers and
thunderstorms will develop and increase in coverage toward metro
Orlando, I-4 corridor, and areas farther north and inland into mid
to late afternoon. Any stronger thunderstorms will produce locally
heavy rainfall, gusty winds up to 40 mph, and dangerous cloud to
ground lightning strikes. Move indoors quickly if thunder is heard.
