Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Taunton MA
408 PM EDT Mon May 29 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Rain across the region this evening, will exit east by dark.
Unsettled weather conditions are expected Tuesday and Wednesday
due to the combination of an upper level disturbance in our
vicinity and a couple of weak surface cold fronts moving through
the region. Overall, it will be mainly dry Tuesday and Wednesday
with only the chance for afternoon scattered showers, namely over
the interior. Rumbles of thunder are also possible.

The min RH on Tuesday will be 55 to 65 percent, then on Wednesday,
50 to 60 percent.

.OUTLOOK...Thursday through Monday...

Thursday promises to be the dry day of the work week then more
unsettled weather returns for Friday and through the weekend. A
persistent upper level low in our vicinity with weak surface cold
fronts moving through the region could trigger a few showers from
time to time Friday through Sunday. It will not be raining all
the time, but there is the chance each day. Temperatures will be
near seasonable through the weekend. Then on Monday, slightly
cooler temperatures arrive on easterly winds. There is also the
continued risk for showers.
