A week cold front will track across the region today. This front will bring showers and isolated thunderstorms to portions of the Midwest. Another disturbance from the same low pressure system will slide through the region Tuesday, bringing the opportunity for additional shower and thunderstorms. Temperatures will remain near seasonal normals today, then cool slightly to highs in the mid to upper 70s through mid- week. High temperatures for Memorial Day will top out in the low 70s to mid 80s across Illinois, from north to south respectively. Lows Monday night will cool into the 50s behind the cold front. $$
