Weather Summary for Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa
National Weather Service Omaha/Valley NE
320 PM CDT Wed Apr 12 2017

Weak low pressure was located over south central Nebraska at mid
afternoon with a warm front extending east into southwest Iowa.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms were found in the vicinity of
the boundary from northeast Kansas into western Iowa. The showers
and thunderstorms will gradually slide southeast tonight as the low
continues to weaken and fill and an upper level impulse moves of the
area. Northern parts of the area are expected to remain dry tonight
although areas of fog and low clouds may develop after midnight.
Thursday will be mainly dry for most of the area but another chance
of thunderstorms will return to southern parts of the region by late
afternoon.

Lows tonight will be in the 40s and 50s. Highs on Thursday will be
mainly in the 70s.
