This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD
). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.
176 AWCA82 TJSJ 040945 RWSPR Weather Summary for Puerto Rico National Weather Service San Juan PR 530 AM AST Tue Apr 4 2017 The doppler radar detected moderate to heavy rains moving across the eastern sections of Puerto Rico around midnight. The activity then dissipated, leaving partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. Minimum temperatures were in the low to mid 60s across the mountain areas and between the low to mid 70s along the coastal sections. A mid to upper level ridge and below normal moisture will result in fair weather conditions during the next few days. However, occasional passing showers will remain possible mainly across the east half of Puerto Rico during the late morning hours. This will be followed by locally and diurnally induced isolated afternoon showers across the interior and western sections. Afternoon high temperatures are expected between the mid and upper 80s. Mariners should expect easterly winds between 15 and 20 knots and seas up to 6 feet. However, seas are expected to increase at 6 to 8 feet across the Atlantic Waters and Mona Passage tonight through Wednesday. Therefore Small Craft Advisories are in effect for these waters. For the beach goers, the risk for rip currents for today is high along the Atlantic Coastline of Puerto Rico and Culebra. $$ This product is issued around 5 AM and 5 PM each day and weather conditions may change between issuances. Please verify the status of any Watches...Warnings or Advisories mentioned in this product.
