295 AWUS83 KMKX 140749 RWSWI WIZ001>074-142130- Wisconsin Weather Summary National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI 250 AM CDT Tue Mar 14 2017 .YESTERDAY... Snow was moderate to heavy at times across portions of southeast and east central Wisconsin. Snowfall amounts exceeded a foot in parts of far southeast Wisconsin. Milwaukee set a new record for snowfall for March 13th, with 8.7 inches measured. Farther inland, snowfall was mostly between 3 and 7 inches. Snowfall was much lighter across central Wisconsin, and northern Wisconsin remained dry. .OVERNIGHT... Lake effect snow showers continued to affect parts of extreme southeast Wisconsin especially across Racine and Kenosha counties. Other snow showers were observed in parts of west central Wisconsin. Temperatures dropped off into the single digits and teens, with some low 20s near Lake Michigan. .FORECAST... Lake effect snow showers will continue this morning across far southeast Wisconsin before shifting offshore later this morning. Otherwise cold temperatures will prevail through Thursday with high pressure dominating. $$ MBK/PC
