...THE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
715 AM PST FOR SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY...

At 538 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges continued to
indicate moderate rain occurring across the western portion of San
Luis Obispo County. Another band of moderate to locally heavy
showers will affect the county over the next few hours as well. With
highest hourly rainfall rates expected to be between a quarter inch
up to over a third of an inch, urban and small stream flooding will
occur across the advisory area...including in and around the Chimney
Burn Area. Beware of falling rocks and boulders if driving  through
canyons due to the persistent rain over the last several days as
well.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
