WEATHER SUMMARY FOR MINNESOTA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TWIN CITIES/CHANHASSEN MN
530 AM CST THU DEC 1 2016

Cloudy skies prevail across the North Star state overnight while
areas of flurries and drizzle shifted off to the south. Temperatures
generally settled into the upper 20s to middle 30s throughout the
night. Similar conditions will persist throughout the day today as
weak high pressure slowly moves in from the west. A few additional
rounds of flurries or drizzle may drift across the state, mainly
this morning, while temperatures remain steady in the upper 20s to
middle 30s.

High pressure will then prevail Friday through Saturday with a
slight rise in temperatures as highs climb through the 30s. A weak
frontal system will push through the state Sunday, bringing light
rain and snow showers for much of the state but no snow accumulation
is expected.

Temperatures will then go on a downward trend through the first half
of next week, with highs dropping into the teens and 20s. Multiple
signals indicate the potential for accumulating snow in the
Wednesday-Thursday timeframe next week but too much model
uncertainty exists to latch onto any particular solution at this
time.
