This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD
). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.

Winds are from the east to southeast at 10 mph. Since sunset temperatures have begun to fall into the lower 30s northeast to lower 40s southwest beneath clear skies. Monday will be similar to today but a few degrees warmer, with highs ranging generally in the 40s. The next in a series of storm systems will then cross the region between Monday night and Wednesday morning, bringing thick clouds and widespread precipitation. Most of this precipitation will fall as rain, with amounts of around half an inch in some areas. However, during the late night and early morning hours each day a wintry mix or light snow may occur, mainly across northern Iowa, with light snow or ice accumulations possible. The first storm system will exit to the east by late Wednesday, but another will come right on its heels between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. The precipitation associated with this second system will likely begin as light rain during the daylight hours, then change to snow from north to south after sunset. This may have some impact on Thanksgiving travel and shopping plans in some parts of the state. No significant warming is seen within the next week, and even by next weekend forecast highs are only in the lower 40s north to lower 50s south. $$ Lee
