897 AWUS81 KCTP 251450 RWSCTP Regional Weather Summary National Weather Service State College PA 1050 AM EDT Tue Oct 25 2016 Mostly cloudy skies were across the Keystone state this morning. A few bands of lake effect rain showers were over the region. Late morning temperatures were mainly in the 40s. Little change in conditions are expected this afternoon. It will remain windy and chilly. High temperatures will range from the 40s across the mountains, to the lower to mid 50s across the southeast and southwest part of the Keystone state. High pressure over eastern Canada will bring clearing skies to the region tonight. Lows will range from the upper 20s across the north and west, to the lower 30s across the southeast. A freeze watch is in effect for much of eastern and southeast Pennsylvania tonight. Clouds will be on the increase from west to east on Wednesday, as a weak low pressure system moves eastward from the midwest. A chilly rain is expected for Wednesday Night into Thursday, before temperatures moderate by the weekend. $$ Martin
