Chances for showers and thunderstorms will remain in the forecast through the day. Some storms in the eastern Dakotas and western areas of Minnesota may become strong this afternoon and evening. Look for increasing winds through the day, with the strongest winds expected in western areas of the region. Tonight, chances for showers and thunderstorms will continue along with strong west northwest winds in western and central areas. Overnight lows will range from the lower 40s in eastern Montana, to the lower 60s in eastern Minnesota. $$
