Weather Summary for the U.S. Virgin Islands
National Weather Service San Juan PR
349 PM AST WED SEP 21 2016

Variably cloudy skies were observed across the US Virgin Islands
during the afternoon hours as scattered showers affected the
region, but these showers diminished by mid afternoon. Temperatures
were in the high 80s and the wind was mainly from the northeast
around 10 mph with higher gusts near showers.

Although moisture will continue to slightly decrease across the
region for the next few days, there will be enough moisture to
generate showers and a couple of thunderstorms across the local
islands and surrounding waters each day. Winds will continue from the
northeast as Tropical Storm Karl moves northeast of the local islands.

Across the regional waters, mariners can continue to expect seas
of 6 feet or less and northeast winds between 5 and 15 knots.
