A few of the storms could be strong to severe with a risk for large hail and damaging wind gusts. The front will move into Kansas and Missouri by tonight with a cooler and drier air mass filtering into the area from the northwest. High temperatures this afternoon will be in the mid 80s to lower 90s. Low temperatures for tonight are expected to range from the 50s over southeast South Dakota...southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa...to around 70 degrees over portions of eastern Kansas and Missouri. $$
