High temperatures only ranged from the low to mid 80s across Kansas today. A developing upper level low pressure trough will move into western Kansas by mid day tomorrow, while a trough of low pressure develops to the lee of the Rockies, and high pressure dominates the Central Plains. This upper level feature will bring a chance of thunderstorms to western Kansas tomorrow afternoon. Temperatures will remain near or slightly below normal again tomorrow. Low temperatures tonight will drop into the upper 50s to low 60s from eastern Colorado through western Kansas, with mid to upper 60s across central and eastern Kansas. Highs tomorrow will be in the low to mid 80s from eastern Colorado through eastern Kansas. $$ Wolfe
