REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY FOR WESTERN KANSAS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS
950 PM CDT MON JUN 23 2014

Partly cloudy skies were the rule across western Kansas today, with
a few late afternoon thunderstorms affecting the northwest corner of
Kansas. High temperatures only ranged from the low to mid 80s across
Kansas today.

A developing upper level low pressure trough will move into western
Kansas by mid day tomorrow, while a trough of low pressure develops
to the lee of the Rockies, and high pressure dominates the Central
Plains. This upper level feature will bring a chance of
thunderstorms to western Kansas tomorrow afternoon. Temperatures
will remain near or slightly below normal again tomorrow.

Low temperatures tonight will drop into the upper 50s to low 60s
from eastern Colorado through western Kansas, with mid to upper 60s
across central and eastern Kansas. Highs tomorrow will be in the low
to mid 80s from eastern Colorado through eastern Kansas.
