The afternoon sky varied from partly sunny to mostly sunny. An upper level disturbance will move east across the Northern and Central Plains tonight and Saturday. A surface trough of low pressure in southeast Colorado will move across the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles tonight. A cold front will move from the Rockies across western Nebraska tonight and across northwest Kansas on Saturday. There is a chance for showers in eastern Colorado to enter northwest Kansas later this evening. There is also a chance for showers and thunderstorms in northeast Oklahoma Saturday afternoon. The overnight lows will be mild in the Central Plains. Overnight low temperatures will range from the lower 40s in western Nebraska and northwest Kansas to the mid 40s in the Oklahoma Panhandle. Saturday high temperatures are expected to range from around 80 degrees in southeast Nebraska to around 90 in southeast Kansas and the mid 90s in Southern Oklahoma and in the Texas Panhandle. $$ MB
