A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING ACROSS SOUTHERN KANSAS AND MISSOURI 
WILL CONTINUE TO BRING LIGHT SNOW TO MUCH OF KANSAS AND MISSOURI... 
SOUTHERN NEBRASKA AND SOUTHERN IOWA THROUGH THIS EVENING. WINTER 
WEATHER ADVISORIES HAVE BEEN POSTED FOR MANY OF THESE AREAS WHERE 
SNOWFALL COULD TOTAL 3 TO 6 INCHES. MOST OF THE SNOW WILL BE 
TAPERING OFF AFTER MIDNIGHT...WITH ONLY LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS STILL 
LINGERING ACROSS PARTS OF KANSAS AND MISSOURI TUESDAY MORNING.

BEHIND THIS LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM...COLD HIGH PRESSURE WILL BE 
SETTLING INTO MID AMERICA LATE TONIGHT AND TUESDAY. A GENERAL 
DECREASE IN CLOUDS CAN BE EXPECTED TUESDAY...BUT TEMPERATURES WILL 
REMAIN COLD DESPITE MORE SUNSHINE. LOOK FOR LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT 
TO SETTLE BACK INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS IN MOST OF NEBRASKA AND 
IOWA...WITH TEENS IN KANSAS AND MISSOURI. READINGS BELOW ZERO WILL 
BE COMMON IN NORTHERN IOWA. HIGHS TO START THE NEW YEAR WILL ONLY BE 
IN THE 20S ACROSS MOST OF NEBRASKA...KANSAS AND MISSOURI...WITH 
TEENS FORECAST FOR IOWA.
