451 AWCA82 TJSJ 190224 RWSVI WEATHER SUMMARY FOR THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN JUAN PR 1024 PM AST THU NOV 18 2010 MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES AND A FEW QUICK PASSING SPRINKLES WERE OBSERVED ACROSS THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS THIS EVENING. THE WINDS WERE MAINLY NORTHEAST AT LESS THAN 10 MPH...AND THE TEMPERATURES DROPPED INTO THE MIDDLE 70S THE PAST FEW HOURS. HIGH PRESSURE AND LIMITED MOISTURE WILL CONTINUE TO RESULT IN GENERALLY FAIR AND MAINLY DRY CONDITIONS ACROSS THE LOCAL ISLANDS THROUGH AT LEAST SATURDAY. HOWEVER...PATCHES OF MOISTURE WILL MOVE ACROSS THE LOCAL AREA FROM TIME TO TIME...RESULTING IN INTERVALS OF CLOUDINESS AND A COUPLE OF LIGHT PASSING SHOWERS. ACROSS THE REGIONAL WATERS...MARINERS SHOULD EXPECT WINDS OF 17 KNOTS OR LESS AND SEAS OF 6 FEET OR LESS THROUGH FRIDAY. SMALL BOAT OPERATORS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION ACROSS MOST OF THE LOCAL WATERS OVERNIGHT. $$ SR
