Bulk Download Help
This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD
). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.

SKIES THIS EVENING ARE MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH SOME SHOWERS ALONG A FRONTAL BOUNDARY EXTENDING ACROSS EASTERN AND SOUTHERN IOWA. HIGHS TODAY WERE MAINLY IN THE 80S ACROSS THE STATE...NEAR 90 IN THE SOUTHWEST AS THE HEAT INDEX TOPPED 100 IN RED OAK AND SHENANDOAH THIS AFTERNOON. WINDS AS OF 8 PM ARE AROUND 5 MPH. THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL BE THE FOCUS OF THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY OVERNIGHT. STORMS COULD PERSIST THROUGH MOST OF THE WEEKEND AS A SERIES OF LOW PRESSURE SYSTEMS MOVE ALONG THE BOUNDARY. HEAVY RAIN MAY CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OVERNIGHT IN WESTERN IOWA AND EASTERN NEBRASKA IN AREAS THAT HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED 2 TO 6 INCHES OF RAIN OVER THE LAST THREE DAYS. FURTHERMORE...THESE STORMS COULD ALSO PRODUCE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. HIGHS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY WILL BE IN THE 70S IN THE NORTHWEST AND IN THE UPPER 80S IN THE SOUTHEAST. LOOKING AHEAD TO NEXT WEEK...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS REMAIN IN THE FORECAST MONDAY AND TUESDAY...BUT DRIER WEATHER IS EXPECTED ON WEDNESDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE MOVES BACK IN TEMPORARILY. HIGHS SHOULD BE IN THE 70S AND 80S FOR MOST OF THE WEEK. $$
