000 AWUS84 KEWX 031413 RWSTX SOUTH TEXAS WEATHER SUMMARY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BROWNSVILLE TX 915 AM CDT THU APR 3 2008 MORNING LOW CLOUDS COVERED SOUTH TEXAS AGAIN THIS MORNING BUT STRONGER SOUTH WINDS INHIBITED WIDESPREAD FOG FORMATION. A FEW SPRINKLES WERE FALLING FROM A MIDDLE CLOUD DECK OVER THE BRUSH COUNTRY BUT LITTLE, IF ANY, OF THE RAINFALL WAS REACHING THE GROUND. MID MORNING TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM 63 DEGREES IN ROCKSPRINGS TO 77 DEGREES IN PORT LAVACA, HARLINGEN AND WESLACO. SKIES WILL REMAIN MOSTLY CLOUDY OVER THE REGION TODAY WITH A FEW SPOTS OF SUNSHINE OVER THE LOWER VALLEY THIS AFTERNOON. WINDY CONDITIONS WILL DEVELOP BY MID DAY OVER THE COASTAL BEND AND DEEP SOUTH WHERE WIND ADVISORIES HAVE BEEN POSTED. HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 70S ON GALVESTON ISLAND TO THE LOWER 90S ACROSS THE SOUTHERN RIO GRANDE PLAINS. $$
