LOW PRESSURE OVER NORTHERN MINNESOTA...WILL MOVE INTO THE GREAT 
LAKES REGION TONIGHT...HOWEVER A TROUGH EXTENDING FROM THE
LOW PRESSURE WESTWARD WILL LINGER OVER NORTHERN MINNESOTA AND 
INTO EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA THROUGH TONIGHT. SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW 
ARE EXPECTED MAINLY TO THE NORTH OF THIS TROUGH...AND WINTER WEATHER 
WARNINGS AND ADVISORIES WILL CONTINUE ACROSS NORTHERN NORTH DAKOTA 
...AND FAR NORTHWEST MINNESOTA TONIGHT. GUSTY WEST TO NORTHWEST 
WINDS WILL DIMINISH OVER THE REGION THIS EVENING...ALTHOUGH BREEZY 
CONDITIONS ARE STILL EXPECTED OVERNIGHT ACROSS THE EASTERN PARTS OF 
SOUTH DAKOTA AND NEBRASKA...INTO MINNESOTA AND IOWA. THE WINDS WILL 
HELP KEEP TEMPERATURES FROM DROPPING BELOW FREEZING...WITH READINGS 
IN THE MID TO UPPER 30S FOR THESE AREAS TONIGHT. FARTHER TO THE 
WEST...COLD HIGH PRESSURE WILL PUSH INTO THE WESTERN HIGH PLAINS. 
DECREASING CLOUDS AND WINDS WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO FALL INTO THE 
20S...AND FREEZE WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT ALONG AND WEST OF THE 
MISSOURI RIVER VALLEY FOR LATE TONIGHT. 

THE CANADIAN HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE EAST ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS 
THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT...ALLOWING FOR A GRADUAL DECREASE IN THE 
CLOUDS AND WINDS THROUGHOUT THE REGION. HIGHS ON THURSDAY WILL RANGE 
FROM THE UPPER 30S NEAR THE CANADIAN BORDER...TO THE LOW TO MID 50S 
OVER NEBRASKA AND SOUTHERN IOWA. THE COLD AIRMASS WILL BRING A 
KILLING FREEZE OVER MUCH OF THE REGION BY FRIDAY MORNING...WITH LOW 
TEMPERATURES EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM THE MID 20S IN EASTERN SOUTH 
DAKOTA...AND ADJACENT AREAS OF MINNESOTA...IOWA AND NEBRASKA...TO 
THE LOWER TO MID 30S IN SOUTHEAST IOWA.
