Bulk Download Help
This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.

FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NW OREGON AND SW WASHINGTON
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PORTLAND OR
323 PM PDT TUE SEP 27 2005
...CONTINUED DRY WEATHER THROUGH MIDWEEK...
.DISCUSSION...AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE ALONG THE COAST THIS AFTERNOON
WILL KEEP NORTHERLY FLOW ALOFT OVER THE AREA BEFORE THE RIDGE
FLATTENS AND FLOW BECOMES WESTERLY OVERNIGHT. A THERMALLY INDUCED TROUGH
WILL REDEVELOP OVER NORTHERN CALIFORNIA OVERNIGHT. LOW LEVEL ONSHORE
FLOW WILL CONTINUE DURING THE EVENING HOURS BUT WILL BE CUT OFF BY
NORTHERLY WINDS DEVELOPING IN RESPONSE TO THE LOW OVER
CALIFORNIA. RH RECOVERY OVERNIGHT WILL BE SOMEWHAT LIMITED BY THE
WIND PATTERN AS ADDITIONAL MOISTURE FROM ONSHORE FLOW WILL LIKELY
BE LIMITED TO THE COAST AND WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE COAST RANGE.
THEREFORE AREAS INLAND ARE LIKELY TO SEE RECOVERIES SIMILAR OR
LESS THAN THOSE OF LAST NIGHT. THERE WILL BE LITTLE CHANGE IN THE
PATTERN WED AND THU...BUT THU NIGHT MOISTURE WILL BEGIN TO
INCREASE AHEAD OF AN INCOMING FRONT. THE FRONT WILL MAINLY IMPACT
WASHINGTON AND NORTHERN OREGON...HOWEVER THERE EXISTS A
POSSIBILITY FOR WETTING RAIN OVER THE COAST...NORTH COAST RANGE
AND CASCADES ON FRI. EXTENDED MODELS ARE HINTING AT A POSSIBLE
CONTINUATION OF COOLER AND MORE MOIST WEATHER INTO THE WEEKEND.
CHANCE OF WETTING RAIN (CWR) 0.25 INCHES OR GREATER.
FORECAST WINDS ARE 10 MINUTE AVERAGES 20 FT ABOVE VEGETATION.
THUNDERSTORMS IMPLY GUSTY AND ERRATIC WINDS.
