AT MID AFTERNOON...THUNDERSTORMS WERE BEGINNING TO DEVELOP IN THE CONCORDIA AND SCANDIA VICINITIES AND WERE DRIFTING TO THE SOUTHEAST. THROUGH THE BALANCE OF THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS PERSONS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR THREATENING WEATHER. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH COVERS MUCH OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS UNTIL 9 PM. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS ARE THE MAIN HAZARDS ALONG WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL. A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WAS ALSO DEVELOPING ACROSS PARTS OF SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA AND THIS SHOULD GRADUALLY MOVE SOUTHEAST. $$ 39
