MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES WERE COMMON OVER THE SOUTHEAST TODAY. A FEW POCKETS OF SUNSHINE BROKE THROUGH...AND TEMPERATURES QUICKLY WARMED. WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FORMED OVER THE SOUTHERN RANGES. THE JELM COOP SITE RECEIVED ALMOST AN INCH OF PRECIPITATION IN A COMBINATION OF RAIN AND SNOW. THE WIND DIRECTION VARIED FROM THE NORTH TO EAST AT 10 TO 20 MPH. OVERNIGHT LOWS DIPPED INTO THE 20S AND 30S. THIS AFTERNOON...HIGHS CLIMBED INTO THE 40S AND 50S...AND 30S IN THE MOUNTAINS. AT 4 PM... TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM 49 DEGREES AT TORRINGTON TO 32 AT LARAMIE. FOR NORTHEAST WYOMING... CLOUDY AND UNSEASONABLY COLD CONDITIONS WERE FOUND OVER THE AREA TODAY. LOWS THIS MORNING WERE AROUND 30 DEGREES WITH READINGS THIS AFTERNOON ONLY IN THE UPPER 30S TO LOWER 40S. FOR WESTERN AND CENTRAL WYOMING... IT WAS CLOUDY AND COOL ACROSS WESTERN AND CENTRAL WYOMING TODAY. OCCASIONAL LIGHT RAIN AND SNOW FELL ACROSS MAINLY THE CENTRAL AND NORTH PARTS. BOTH LAKE YELLOWSTONE AND WORLAND RECEIVED AROUND A TENTH OF AN INCH OF MOISTURE SINCE DAYBREAK. NORTH WINDS OF 10 TO 15 MPH WERE COMMON. STRONGEST WINDS OCCURRED BUFFALO AND SHERIDAN...WITH SPEEDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH NOTED. TEMPERATURES AT 4 PM RANGED FROM 34 DEGREES AT CASPER AND CODY...TO 49 DEGREES AT ROCK SPRINGS. $$ CYS/RAP/RIW
