LOW PRESSURE WILL TRACK NORTHEASTWARD FROM THE SOUTHERN PLAINS
TODAY...GRADUALLY LIFTING A WARM FRONT INTO THE MIDWEST.  SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP IN ADVANCE OF THIS SYSTEM ACROSS MUCH OF
THE REGION...WITH DRY WEATHER PREVAILING ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES.
THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT
ACROSS MISSOURI...IOWA...ILLINOIS...AND WESTERN KENTUCKY...WITH THE
MAIN THREAT FROM THE STORMS BEING DAMAGING WIND GUSTS.  IN
ADDITION...HEAVY RAINFALL WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT.  THE LOW
WILL TRACK INTO THE GREAT LAKES ON SUNDAY...TAKING THE RAIN FURTHER
EAST INTO MICHIGAN...INDIANA...AND KENTUCKY.  AFTER THAT...COOLER AND
DRIER WEATHER WILL BE THE RULE ACROSS THE ENTIRE REGION EARLY NEXT
WEEK.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY...WILL RANGE FROM THE MIDDLE 50S ACROSS
IOWA...SOUTHERN WISCONSIN...AND NORTHERN ILLINOIS...TO THE LOWER 70S
IN KENTUCKY.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT...WILL RANGE FROM AROUND 40 DEGREES IN
NORTHWEST IOWA...TO THE LOWER 60S ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE OHIO RIVER.
