AT 10 TO 15 MPH OVER PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST ALABAMA. BRIEF HEAVY
RAIN...FREQUENT LIGHTNING...AND GUSTY WINDS ARE POSSIBLE WITH
STRONGER STORMS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE GENERALLY LESS
THAN HALF AN INCH...WITH LOCALIZED AMOUNTS REACHING HALF AN INCH OR
HIGHER WITH STRONGER STORMS. THE SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL CONTINUE
MOVING NORTH AND SLOWLY DISSIPATE AFTER SUNSET.

ISOLATED SHOWERS WERE MOVING NORTH AT AROUND 10 KNOTS OVER THE
ALABAMA COASTAL WATERS SOME 10 TO 40 NAUTICAL MILES OFFSHORE
BETWEEN THE EAST END OF DAUPHIN ISLAND AND ORANGE BEACH. THE MAIN
THREAT WITH THESE SHOWERS WILL BE REDUCED VISIBILITY DUE TO HEAVY
RAIN...GUSTY WINDS...AND ROUGH SEAS. MARINERS SHOULD BE ON THE
LOOKOUT FOR CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS. THE SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED
TO CONTINUE MOVING NORTH AND SLOWLY DIMINISH AFTER SUNSET.
