487 ABUS30 KSDF 222106 SWSKY KENTUCKY WEATHER SUMMARY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LOUISVILLE KENTUCKY 502 PM EDT THU AUG 22 2002 SKIES WERE MOSTLY CLOUDY OVER KENTUCKY OVERNIGHT. TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM UPPER 60S TO MIDDLE 70S. DRY AND HOT CONDITIONS WERE FOUND ACROSS THE STATE TODAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE 90S ACROSS KENTUCKY...WITH THE LOUISVILLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND FRANKFORT REACHING 96 DEGREES. ALSO THIS AFTERNOON... HEAT INDICES WERE IN THE UPPER 90S TO LOWER 100S OVER THE ENTIRE STATE. THE HIGHEST HEAT INDICES WERE LOCATED AT THE LOUISVILLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AT 103. TONIGHT WILL BE CLEAR TO PARTLY CLOUDY AND WARM. THERE MAY BE SOME ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY. LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL BE IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 70S ACROSS THE BLUEGRASS STATE. FOR FRIDAY...EXPECT PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES WITH A CHANCE OCCASIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE STATE. IT WILL BE HOT AND HUMID WITH HIGHS IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 90S.
