Bulk Download Help
This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD
). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.
999 FXUS63 KAPX 020317 AFDAPN AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION FOR EASTERN UPPER/NORTHWEST LOWER MI NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GAYLORD MI 1017 PM EST MON MAR 1 1999 IR/FOG LOOPS SHOWING MUCH OF THE LOW CLOUDINESS THAT PLAGUED NORTHERN MICHIGAN EARLIER TODAY HAS FALLEN APART AS SURFACE RIDGE AXIS SLIDES INTO LAKE MICHIGAN. ONE SMALL PATCH LINGERS OVER WESTERN PORTIONS OF CHIPPEWA/MACKINAC COUNTIES...WITH SOME PATCHY SC IN AN AREA BOUNDED BY KTVC-KGLR-KHTL-KTVC. DECK OF AC HAS BEEN SPREADING OUT OF WESTERN UPPER/NORTHEAST WI AND INTO NORTHWEST LOWER THIS EVENING...ALTHOUGH PREVAILING SUBSIDENCE HAS THINNED CLOUD COVER OUT A BIT. LARGER AREA OF LOWER AC OVER EASTERN WI BEGINNING TO SPREAD EAST-SOUTHEAST INTO LAKE MICHIGAN AS WELL. MID LEVELS FAIRLY DRY ACROSS LOWER MICHIGAN PER 00Z APX/DTX RAOBS...AND WITH AFOREMENTIONED SUBSIDENCE IN PLACE EXPECT THAT CLOUD EDGE WILL HAVE A LITTLE HARDER TIME MOVING INTO NORTHWEST LOWER OVERNIGHT. 700MB RH PROG FROM 00Z RUC LENDS SOME CREDENCE TO THIS IDEA AS WELL. GOING FORECAST ALREADY HAD PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES OVERNIGHT FOR NORTHWEST LOWER SO NO CHANGES PLANNED THERE. FORECAST OVERALL LOOKS TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE...WITH PARTLY CLOUDY OVER NORTHWEST LOWER AND MOSTLY CLEAR INLAND. WINDS SHOULD GO NEARLY CALM OVERNIGHT AS WEAK HIGH PASSES THROUGH...WHICH SHOULD SET THE STAGE FOR SOME DECENT RADIATIONAL COOLING. OVERNIGHT LOWS IN THE TEENS LOOK GOOD MOST AREAS. GIVEN FAIRLY CLOSE TEMP-DEW POINT SPREADS MAY HAVE TO MENTION SOME PATCHY FOG AS WELL...WHICH SHOULD BE ESPECIALLY PREVALENT IN LOW LYING AREAS. JPB
