Yesterday turned out being yet another warm November day this month. While it did not set any records for Des Moines, some of the hourly observations were the warmest since the IEM's records of data begin in 1948. The featured chart displays the range of reported hourly temperatures from the Des Moines Airport along with the houlr observations yesterday. A front swept through last evening and dropped temperatures into the 40s. Much cooler weather is expected today and into this weekend.
