The dominant storm system to our east responsible for all this nasty weather is finally moving away from us today. For the past few days, instability showers have developed with the heating of the day and with cold air in the upper levels of the atmosphere fire small little storms. These popcorn like storms drift along with the wind before dissipating with sunset.
