After all the rain, cloudiness, and cold last week, this week was expected to be the opposite with plenty of sunshine and warmer temperatures. The sunshine so far has been obscured by smoke from the western US wildfires. The featured image from the KCRG-TV webcam near the Amana Colonies this morning shows rising sun appearing as a point of red due to the smoke particles in the sky.
