Monday was yet another muggy June day with dew point temperatures again reaching 70+ degrees for Des Moines. Based on IEM accounting of hourly reports, this makes for the fifth day this June at or above that level. The featured chart totals these days up for each June based on period of record data for the site. The overall average just about seven and with nearly two thirds of the month remaining, it seems probable that we'll well exceed that total.
