The featured graph is a comparison of snowfall forecasts for Des Moines. The green line is the forecast from the Weather Service last night and the other lines are weather model forecasts from Thursday for today. The models have been trending a bit lower with the snowfall amounts based on some dry air that is expected to cut down on totals. The caveat is that if you hear thunder, snowfall totals could add up very quickly due to enhanced snowfall rates. The features graph was provided by Iowa State grad student Chris Karstens.
